Abhijit Banshelkikar

Abhijit Banshelkikar heads the R&D function for Ariston Group India Private Limited and has previously led the Quality function. With over 20 years of experience in product design and innovation, he has played a key role in developing and launching numerous water heater and appliance solutions.

Since joining Ariston Group India in 2014, Abhijit has driven product innovation, technology transfer initiatives, and OEM qualifications to support business growth and de-risking. His contributions have helped secure prestigious recognitions, including the National Energy Conservation Award from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the Machinist Super Shop-Floor Innovation Award, and the ET Polymer Award. He also played a pivotal role in securing a patent for Racold’s Smart Float design for solar water heating applications.

A certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Reliability Practitioner, and Value Engineering Specialist, Abhijit holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad (Sambhaji Nagar). Before joining Ariston, he worked with leading global organizations including General Electric Appliances and Thermo Fisher Scientific, building expertise across home appliances and laboratory equipment.
